Season 4, Episode 1, titled Du hater å henge med oss (English: You hate hanging out with us) is the thirty-fourth episode of Skam, and the first episode of Season 4.

- Er jeg sen? (English: Am I late?)
Sana is on the bus on her way to the Kollektiv and looking out of the window. She spots some guys showing off their abs and then she gets an alert from her prayer app. She closes her eyes and appears to pray briefly. The woman across from her on the bus gives her a judgmental look, and Sana makes a face back at her.
Walking up to The Kollektiv, Sana gets a text from her mom about a theme night at the mosque about women's role in Islam. Sana asks if Jamilla is coming and agrees to come when her mom says she doesn't think so.
Sana walks up to Isak and Even cuddling by a moving van, talking about celebrating moving out. They tease her about being late and she jokes that she took the tram the wrong way. Soon Magnus, Madhi, and Jonas join them by the van, continuing the joking. Isak says she can help him and Even unpack and Sana says it sounds fun but she's too busy. She starts to go upstairs and Magnus asks her to tell Vilde he misses her. The boys joke about if Magnus and Vilde or Isak and Even are a cuter couple.
Eventually Sana joins the girls upstairs, where they are discussing Vilde and Magnus' sex life over pizza. Eva offers her pepperoni before giving her beef instead, which Sana picks the toppings off of. Vilde tells increasingly explicit stories while dripping ranch sauce on her pizza and Sana interrupts her to complain about her lack of boundaries. Vilde suggests Sana is sexually frustrated and Sana denies this, saying she doesn't constantly think about boys or feel like she's missing out, and that she can have sex if she wants but chooses not to. Noora breaks the awkward moment that follows to ask if anyone wants tea, and she and Chris go to the kitchen.
While they're in the other room, Eva says Chris told her William has a new girlfriend in London. Sana says she should tell her but Eva isn't sure, especially since they don't know it it's true. When Noora returns Vilde asks if she and William ever tried anal, and the girls try to get Noora to talk about him and confirm if they're together or not. The scene ends with the sound of a kettle about to boil over.
- Slave
Sana enters her home, noticing some people chattering and a bunch of shoes by the door of the apartment. While taking off her jacket and backpack, she tries to figure out if anyone's at home, by yelling "Hello?". She peeks into the next room before going to check her appearance in the mirror and reapply her lipstick.
She leans casually in the doorway to watch Elias, her brother, hanging out with a group of friends (the Balloon Squad). She watches Yousef failing to throw socks into a lampshade before asking what they're doing. His friends say she should try since she's good at basketball, unlike some of them. Elias says she learned from him and Sana insults him, earning ooh's from his friends. Elias says he'll serve as her slave for a week if she can make the shot, and swears "wallah" that he'll do it. Adam explains she has to throw the socks in the lamp exactly when Snoop Dogg sings "smoke weed everyday". Elias adds that if she fails, she has to be his slave instead. He manages to goad her into taking the new deal by implying she's scared. Sana ends up making the shot but too early, losing the bet.
Elias immediately asks Sana to make some tea for him and his friends as his first favor. Sana protests that she's not slave for his friends but Elias insists since they're his guests. Sana heads towards the kitchen, and he quips "thanks, slave-woman". Sana spins to glare at him and he apologizes, saying it came out wrong. His friends start criticizing him for talking to his sister like that.
- So hot
The Girl Squad is sitting on a planter and eating frozen yogurt. Chris says Easter break is boring and Sana replies that they should've gone to the cabin, but Chris says she doesn't want to since it reminds her of Kasper. Sana receives a message from Elias, who asks her to let him borrow her key, since he forgot his. Meanwhile, the girls start talking about what they could do during Easter break and Vilde suggests that Magnus join them. Noora goes home, claiming she has to stop Eskild from decorating her room. The girls go back and forth wondering if she knows about William's girlfriend. Sana says that she has to go give her brother her key and the girls follow her to the gym, where the Balloon Squad is training.
Walking up to the gym, Vilde says they need to find Noora a new guy to think about, and that one of the girls should start dating Jonas or Madhi. She continues that it's boring that she's the only one with a boyfriend and that they always hang out without her when she spends time with Magnus. Eva says she doesn't know any guys Noora would be into and Vilde asks where they're supposed to find new, cool, handsome boys. The girls look over to see the Balloon Squad lifting weights and stare at them for a while. Sana lingers on Yousef before shaking herself out of it and calling for Elias. Elias greets her as "slave" (to Vilde's horror) and she tosses him her keys. Elias asks who her friends are before Sana can walk away, and Vilde introduces herself excitedly. The rest of the boys join Elias in front of the girls and Vilde says they "found some," which Sana loudly disagrees with.
- Fy Faen
The Girl Squad are at a metro stop, waiting for their train. Noora asks if they're actually hanging out with Sana's brother and Vilde says she thought it would be cool to meet some new guys, and that Elias is really hot. Noora questions her since she already has a boyfriend, but Eva quickly changes the subject. Sana tells the girls that the guys are "childish" and that they won't show up, and Vilde disagrees saying they're the same age as William. A few seconds later, the guys come into view, carrying a bunch of McDonald's balloons.
In the train car, everyone is talking and laughing except for Sana, who stands off to the side. Yousef comes to stand near her and they exchange glances before he jokes that she hates hanging out with them. They're interrupted by Sana's mother calling her, asking where she is. She tries to lie about helping Noora with something before admitting they're on their way to a party. Sana's mother says it would be easier if she hung out with people more similar to her and Sana insists she can have Norwegian friends and still be herself. Sana's mother agrees to trust her. After hanging up, Sana receives a notification from her prayer app, saying it's time to pray.
Everyone walks to the party together. As soon as they get there, Sana goes into the bathroom and looks in the mirror before washing her face and hands. She struggles to make her way through the crowd of partiers and finds an empty bedroom where she can pray. She orients herself to Mecca and moves a rug so she can use it as a prayer mat. She concentrates and the sounds of the party fade away. While she prays, two people enter the bedroom while making out, falling on the bed and interrupting Sana. She sneaks out without them noticing.
The Girl Squad and Balloon Squad are hanging out and enjoying the party. When Sana emerges from the bedroom, she sees Noora talking to Yousef, and appears jealous.
